Buyer

Our client, a luxury equipment manufacturer based in Crawley, is seeking an experienced Buyer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role within their purchasing team.

The Role:

• Action system alerts to ensure timely ordering of components, including both bulk purchasing and ad hoc orders.
• Track and maintain delivery schedules to ensure goods arrive on time to the warehouse
• Build and maintain relationships with a portfolio of suppliers
• Update ERP system with any price changes and supplier updates
• Monitor and manage supplier performance, focusing on OTIF, quality, and cost
• Carry out general administrative duties including MRP, raising purchase orders, and maintaining the ERP system

Key Experience:

• Previous buying experience
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
• Strong attention to detail
• Background within manufacturing/engineering
• Experience managing a high volume of components

Package:

• Salary of £40,000pa
• Monday – Friday / 7.30am – 4.30pm
• 21 days holiday + BH
• Onsite Parking
