Service Administrator – Construction Equipment Dealership

Salary: £28,000 PA

About the Role 
Elite Consultancy Network is working with a well-established, multi-brand construction equipment dealership based in Newark to recruit an experienced Service Administrator.

 
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and growing service department, supporting the coordination of workshop and field service operations across a range of leading construction equipment brands.

 
Key Responsibilities 

• 
  Raise and manage service job cards/work orders from start to completion

• 
  Schedule workshop and field service engineers efficiently

• 
  Act as the first point of contact for service enquiries

• 
  Provide customers with updates on repair progress and timelines

• 
  Coordinate with the parts department to ensure availability for jobs

• 
  Process invoices, purchase orders, and job costing information

• 
  Submit and manage warranty claims in line with manufacturer requirements

• 
  Maintain accurate service records and documentation

 

What We’re Looking For 

• 
  Previous experience in a service administration, engineering, or automotive environment

• 
  Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks

• 
  Excellent communication and customer service skills

• 
  Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (experience with dealer management systems is an advantage)

• 
  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

 

Desirable (but not essential) 

• 
  Experience within construction equipment, plant, or heavy machinery sectors

• 
  Knowledge of warranty processes and service scheduling

• 
  Familiarity with workshop or field service operations
