📍 Location: Merseyside
💷 Pay Rate: £31 per hour
🕒 Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2 days in the office

Are you a passionate and experienced Children’s Social Worker looking for your next challenge? Join a proactive and dynamic Front Door Team in Merseyside, where your expertise will directly support children and families at the earliest point of need.
This is a high-impact role focused on child-centred, strength-based early interventions—working closely with families and partner agencies to assess and respond to safeguarding concerns effectively and promptly.

What You’ll Be Doing

Managing a fast-paced duty function (1 in every 5 weeks)
Conducting Social Care Needs Assessments, Mental Capacity Assessments, and safeguarding investigations
Working closely with police, health, and education partners
Identifying risk, right-sizing support, and signposting families to appropriate services
Promoting community-based support via strong links with Early Help Services
Ensuring timely and effective case recording and care planning

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England
Minimum 4 years' post-qualified experience in children’s services
Skilled in working with vulnerable children and families
Knowledgeable in Child Protection, legislation, and best practices
Strong assessment, communication, and risk management skills
Collaborative and confident in working with multi-agency teams
Flexible, organised, and committed to positive outcomes
