Job Description

Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of Royal Mail for RMSS C&D (Collections & Delivery) Operatives based in Belfast. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s most trusted organisations, playing a vital role in ensuring mail and parcels are delivered safely and efficiently across the local area.
 
Your Role
  • Drive a 3.5t vehicle, ensuring timely and secure deliveries of high-value and sensitive items
  • Follow scheduled routes of sometimes long-distance driving and respond to any delivery changes quickly and professionally
  • Load and unload consignments with care and attention
  • Provide exceptional customer service on every route
  • Complete all necessary documentation and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence (Category B) with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Proven experience in multi-drop or secure delivery work preferred
  • Ability to pass enhanced security vetting, including DBS checks
  • Excellent time management, communication, and organisational skills
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a strong sense of responsibility
Other Information:
  • Working Hours: 09:30-16:30 Monday to Friday.
  • Pay Rate: £15.39
  • Duration of Assignment: 5 weeks.
  • Start Date: 12/03/2026
  • Location: Belfast 2 Westbank Way, Belfast, BT3 9PF
