Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only + 3 Days During School Holidays
Hours: 40 hours/week
Start Date: September
Actual salary (already pro-rated) is dependent on qualifications and experience

This is not a traditional teaching role. You’ll be part of an innovative and compassionate team delivering bespoke academic and therapeutic support to students with complex needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health), SEN (Special Educational Needs), and trauma backgrounds.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and delivering personalised learning pathways aligned with the school’s curriculum
- Leading or supporting 1:1 and small group interventions
- Managing and supporting behaviour through positive and consistent strategies
- Collaborating closely with assistant staff and the wider team
- Ensuring safeguarding and student wellbeing is at the forefront of your practice
- Have 3+ years’ experience with children or families with SEN or challenging behaviours
- Are confident in behaviour management and using trauma-informed approaches
- Are adaptable, organised, and proactive
- Can lead and inspire, while also working effectively as part of a close-knit team
- Are committed to safeguarding and the welfare of children
- Understand the emotional and social challenges faced by students in alternative provision
- Believe in the ethos of “connection before correction” and inclusive practice
