About the Role: 
This is not a traditional teaching role. You’ll be part of an innovative and compassionate team delivering bespoke academic and therapeutic support to students with complex needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health), SEN (Special Educational Needs), and trauma backgrounds.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and delivering personalised learning pathways aligned with the school’s curriculum
• Leading or supporting 1:1 and small group interventions
• Managing and supporting behaviour through positive and consistent strategies
• Collaborating closely with assistant staff and the wider team
• Ensuring safeguarding and student wellbeing is at the forefront of your practice

What We’re Looking For We’re seeking candidates who:

• Have 3+ years’ experience with children or families with SEN or challenging behaviours
• Are confident in behaviour management and using trauma-informed approaches
• Are adaptable, organised, and proactive
• Can lead and inspire, while also working effectively as part of a close-knit team
• Are committed to safeguarding and the welfare of children
• Understand the emotional and social challenges faced by students in alternative provision
• Believe in the ethos of “connection before correction” and inclusive practice
