Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Service / Maintenance Engineer - Oxford

About the Role:

My client is seeking an experienced and qualified Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Service / Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding across a wide range of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality service to our commercial and domestic clients, ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive service work on air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults across various system types (VRV/VRF, split systems, cold rooms, etc.).
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Represent the company professionally when liaising with clients.

Requirements:

• Based within the Oxford area. 
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (or equivalent).
• F-Gas Category 1 certification (essential).
• Proven experience in servicing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent fault-finding skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

SALARY & PACKAGE:

• 40 – 45K depending on exp.
