  • Book meetings, manage diaries, and take minutes, occasionally travelling to meetings within or outside Monmouthshire.
  • Process financial transactions (petty cash, invoices, purchase orders) and liaise with suppliers and finance teams.
  • Act as the first point of contact for safeguarding referral calls, escalating serious issues to senior managers.
  • Conduct file audits to ensure compliance with statutory guidelines and support data quality improvements.

  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
What we’re looking for:
  • Exceptional IT literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ideally an ECDL or equivalent.
  • Recent administrative experience, with desirable skills in minute-taking, diary management, and data/systems management.
  • GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) for literacy and numeracy.
  • Strong communication skills, tact, diplomacy, and a commitment to confidentiality.
  • A friendly, flexible, and proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Awareness of safeguarding, health, safety, and data protection practices.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and adapt to flexible working hours as needed.
Requirements:
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Two years of professional references/work history.
  • On offer acceptance: Confidentiality Agreement and Criminal Convictions Declaration.
  • Standard DBS check (Children and Barred List) required due to the role’s exemption from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.

  • Opportunity to develop skills through training and contribute to innovative service improvements.
  • Dedicated support from Network Recruitment Wales for a seamless placement experience.
