Local Authority Benefits Assessment Officer, North London
Pay rate to £27.46 per hour
Contract role, Local Authority Revenue and Benefits
 
We are recruiting for an experienced Benefits Assessment Officer, in for a Local Authority in North London.
Essential Criteria
A minimum of 2 years experience of all Housing Benefit assessment and calculations including New Claims, change in circumstances, reviews and reconsiderations mainly with Temporary Accommodation.
Have worked with Atlas, VEP and HBAA.
Must also have a good knowledge of iWorld and Information@work systems as well as Northgate NPS.
Successful candidate will working with new sign ups to both Temporary accommodation and general needs but mainly TA.
Must have knowledge of relevant HB and UC legislation and guidance
Position is a hybrid role with candidate working 1 day a week from the office.
Candidate must also have good working knowledge of UC.
 
You will need to have experience in a similar level role in a Local Authority.
