The Role
An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Redditch is seeking a motivated and reliable Maths Teacher to join their team from April 2026 on a supply basis.
The role involves teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and structured lessons that build students’ confidence in numeracy, reasoning, and problem-solving. You will support pupils in preparing for GCSE Maths, ensuring strong progress and attainment across mixed-ability classes.
Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and maintaining a positive and focused classroom environment with clear expectations for behaviour and learning.
 
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
  • Hold QTS or be an ECT
  • Have experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4
  • Be confident delivering GCSE Maths content
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Be committed to improving pupil outcomes and engagement
