The Role
An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Sandwell is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic French & Spanish Teacher to join their Modern Foreign Languages department from April 2026 on a long-term supply basis.
The role involves teaching both French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. You will support pupils in building confidence and preparing for GCSE language examinations, while promoting a positive and inclusive approach to language learning.
Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and maintaining a structured and engaging classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
- Have experience teaching French and Spanish at secondary level
- Be confident delivering across KS3 and KS4
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
- Be organised, adaptable, and committed to student progress
