The Role
A secondary school in Wolverhampton is seeking a dedicated and engaging Science Teacher to join their department from April 2026 on a full-time, long-term supply basis.
The role involves teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering well-structured lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. You will support students in developing scientific knowledge, practical skills, and exam confidence as they work towards GCSE Science qualifications.
Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and maintaining a focused and positive classroom environment. The school is looking for a teacher who can inspire curiosity while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
- Have experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
- Be confident delivering across all three sciences
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Be committed to supporting student progress and attainment
