The Role
We’re recruiting confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to support a range of secondary schools across Dudley. This role offers a mix of long-term placements and flexible day-to-day cover, making it an ideal opportunity for those who enjoy variety and working across different school settings.
You’ll supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, deliver pre-prepared work, maintain a positive learning environment, and ensure behaviour expectations are upheld. No planning or marking is required, allowing you to focus on supporting students and ensuring lessons run smoothly.
The Candidate
We’re looking for proactive, reliable individuals who are confident leading classrooms and managing behaviour. You should be:
- Experienced working with KS3–KS4 students (school or youth-based experience accepted)
- Able to follow lesson plans and keep students engaged
- Calm, professional, and adaptable to different school environments
- A good communicator with strong behaviour-management skills

You will be working across a selection of Ofsted-rated Good and Outstanding Dudley secondary schools known for supportive staff teams, clear behaviour policies, and well-structured cover procedures. These environments are ideal for those wanting to build classroom experience or considering a future in teaching.
