The Role
We are seeking an engaging and dedicated Health & Social Care Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school or sixth form from January 2026. This is a full-time, long-term position teaching Health & Social Care across Key Stages 4 and 5, with a strong focus on vocational and careers-based learning.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons that prepare students for real-world applications in health, education, and social care sectors. The role includes designing assignments, assessing coursework, and supporting learners to meet BTEC and other vocational qualification standards.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and motivated educator who can connect classroom learning with real-life contexts. You should be:
- A qualified teacher with QTS or QTLS
- Experienced in teaching Health & Social Care at KS4 and KS5
- Confident delivering BTEC, OCR, or equivalent vocational courses
- Passionate about supporting student progression into health, social, or childcare pathways
- Organised, approachable, and committed to inclusive, high-quality teaching
