Job Description
Are you a passionate and energetic PE Teacher who’s ready to inspire the next generation of girls through sport and physical activity? A vibrant secondary school in Telford is seeking a committed female PE teacher to join their team from September 2025 on a long-term supply basis.

- Pay: £175 – £250 per day (dependent on experience)
- Key Stages: KS3 and KS4
The Role
This is a full-time position teaching girls’ PE across KS3 and KS4. You’ll deliver a broad and inclusive PE curriculum that builds confidence, teamwork, and a love of physical activity. From netball and athletics to health and fitness, you’ll play a vital role in promoting physical well being and achievement in sport. There may also be opportunities to support extracurricular clubs and fixtures.
The Candidate
We are looking for a qualified PE teacher with UK QTS and a track record (or potential, for ECTs) of effective PE teaching at secondary level. You should be enthusiastic, approachable, and capable of engaging pupils of all abilities. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills are essential, along with a genuine commitment to supporting girls’ development in sport.
