Graduate Teaching Assistant

*** ‘Good’ primary school, Wolverhampton
*** 1:1 and small group support to under-achievers
 
The Role:
Work across classes to run short, targeted interventions in reading, writing and maths. Provide 1:1 catch-up, guide small groups, prepare simple resources and keep brief impact notes to inform next steps. Reinforce routines, promote positive behaviour and help pupils develop independence.
 
The Candidate:
You’re a graduate who communicates clearly, follows guidance well and keeps sessions purposeful. You’re organised, patient and motivated to help pupils make measurable progress.
 
Requirements
• Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject.
• Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Desire to work in education/with children – Genuine commitment to inclusion and pupil progress.
• Experience working with children – Any relevant experience (tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.
