Key Stage 2 Class Teacher – Peckham – September 2025 Start
Pertemps Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Peckham to recruit a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 Class Teacher for a September 2025 start.

This full-time role is ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to begin or continue their teaching journey in a supportive, child-centred environment.

Location: Peckham
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary
Salary: M1 – M6

About the Role:

• Full-time Key Stage 2 class teacher position
• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture where all pupils can thrive
• Use a variety of assessment methods to support pupil progress and inform planning
• Support pupils' academic, emotional, and social development
• Take part in school life, including CPD, staff meetings, and enrichment activities

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching Key Stage 2 in a UK primary school (school placements considered for ECTs)
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge, planning, and assessment skills
• Be reflective, enthusiastic, and committed to continuous professional development
• Foster positive behaviour and demonstrate effective classroom management
• Be a collaborative team player with a child-focused approach
• Be keen to contribute to the wider life of the school
