Computer Science Teacher – Brent – Immediate Start 
A well-regarded secondary school in Brent is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join their dynamic team immediately. This is an exciting opportunity to teach enthusiastic learners in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
  • Position: Computer Science Teacher 
  • Pay: £160 – £250 per day (dependent on experience) 
  • Location: Brent, North West London 
  • Start Date: Immediate 
  • Interview Date: ASAP 

About the Role:
 
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Computer Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, with the potential to teach KS5. The successful candidate will inspire a love for computing, promote digital literacy, and prepare pupils for success in both examinations and future careers in technology. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Plan and deliver the Computer Science curriculum in line with national standards 
  • Use innovative teaching methods to engage learners of all abilities 
  • Prepare students for GCSE and, where applicable, A-Level assessments 
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and targeted support 
  • Contribute to departmental planning, resources, and enrichment opportunities 
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement 
  • Engage with parents and carers to support pupil development 
 
The Ideal Candidate Will: 
  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent 
  • Have a degree in Computer Science or a related subject 
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for computing and technology 
  • Have experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level (KS3–KS4 essential, KS5 desirable) 
  • Be committed to inclusive, high-quality education 
  • Possess excellent classroom management and organisational skills
