Youth Justice Service Officer, Cambridgeshire

It is hybrid working with attending the office once per week suggested. It would be necessary to undertake significant travel though across parts of the county as part of the role, particularly for home visits. The Youth Offending Service is a multi-disciplinary team delivering services to prevent and reduce offending behaviour amongst young people. A vacancy is available for an experienced practitioner who is able to work with a wide range of young people who enter the criminal justice system. Applicants will need a qualification at diploma level or above in a relevant subject such as social work, youth work or probation. The roles involve working with offenders, courts, risk assessment, report writing and with partner agencies, so experience in these areas is important.
