Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant – Manchester - Secondary School

The Role
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll work alongside the school’s SEND department, supporting students with a range of needs such as autism, ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health difficulties. You will provide both in-class support and 1-2-1 interventions, helping students to engage with the curriculum, build confidence, and develop coping strategies. This role gives you a chance to make a real impact while building valuable experience in an educational setting.

The Candidate
This role is ideal for a recent Psychology graduate with a strong interest in child development, mental health, or special educational needs. You should be empathetic, resilient, and confident in working with young people. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential. Previous experience in a school or youth setting is helpful but not required.
