Class Teacher – Special School – Birmingham
Are you a passionate and committed Class Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in a supportive special school? A well-resourced special school in Birmingham is seeking a Class Teacher to join their team, teaching small groups of pupils with a range of complex learning needs. This is a permanent opportunity where you will be part of a strong and supportive staff team dedicated to making a positive difference.

As a Class Teacher in this school, you will deliver creative and personalised lessons to meet the needs of primary and secondary-aged pupils with Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and additional complex needs. You will be supported by a team of experienced teaching assistants and benefit from the school’s excellent facilities, strong leadership, and a culture that truly values both staff and pupils.
Job Role:
  • Teaching a small class of pupils with complex learning needs.
  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons.
  • Working closely with teaching assistants and specialist staff.
  • Supporting pupils with communication, social, and emotional development.
  • Creating a nurturing classroom environment that promotes confidence and independence.
