Teacher – SEMH School
Are you a Qualified Teacher looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience teaching young people with challenging behaviours or SEMH? This excellent SEMH school is looking for teachers who are available for short-term and day-to-day cover. This school is a nurturing and supportive environment for Key Stage 3 & 4 children who have struggled to engage with mainstream education. 

This role is suitable for a teacher from any subject background, and the school is happy to consider teachers from a primary or secondary environments with strong classroom management. You will be providing ad-hoc and short-term cover in the absence of fulltime teaching staff. The school has an outstanding reputation across the West Midlands for providing students with the tools that they require to dismantle academic and social barriers. This role requires QTS.
 
Job Role:

• Teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 in this SEMH school.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and using de-escalation strategies when needed.
• Delivering engaging and structured lessons to meet the needs of students.
• Building positive relationships with students and staff.
• Providing consistency and stability in the absence of the usual class teacher.
