Children’s Social Worker – Children in Care Team
Rate: £33.30 per hour
Location: Birmingham
Working pattern: Hybrid

Pertemps is currently recruiting for an experienced Children’s Social Worker to join the Children in Care Team with a local authority in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a service supporting children and young people aged 0–18, including those who are vulnerable and have complex needs, ensuring their voices remain at the centre of all decision making.

The role involves working closely with a wide range of partners including health professionals, schools, independent reviewing services, legal teams and the courts where children are subject to care proceedings. You will play a key role in delivering high quality interventions, managing care plans, and supporting children to achieve the best possible outcomes in stable and safe environments.

To be considered, you must have previous experience within a Children in Care or Looked After Children team, strong assessment and safeguarding experience, and the ability to work effectively within a multi-agency setting.
