Location: Southend City Council
Salary: £37,938 - £43,693 per annum
Working Pattern: Full time, hybrid working available (minimum 2 days on-site)
Relocation Package: Up to £8,000
Driving Requirement: Must have a valid UK driving licence and access to a car

🌟 The Role:

• Undertake robust, timely assessments under Section 17 and Section 47
• Respond to referrals and concerns regarding children's safety and welfare
• Work closely with children, families, and multi-agency professionals
• Develop and implement clear, outcome-focused plans
• Ensure all statutory requirements are met and safeguarding practices upheld

✅ What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
• Previous experience in frontline children’s services, ideally within A&I teams
• Strong knowledge of legislation, thresholds, and assessment frameworks
• A UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential
