**Early Years SEN Support Assistant / SEN TA – Greenwich, SE London** 
**Long-Term / Temp-to-Perm Opportunity** 
**Start: ASAP / April 2026 / September 2026** 
**Pay: £108 per day 
**Location: Vibrant Primary School & Nursery, Royal Borough of Greenwich**
 
Are you an experienced Early Years practitioner or SEN support professional looking for rewarding, long term work in a supportive Greenwich primary school? 
 
Our partner school is urgently seeking a dedicated **Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant** to provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support in Nursery/Reception. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a tangible impact on young children with SEND, while benefiting from agency advantages like weekly pay, no long notice periods, and the potential to secure a permanent contract.
 
**Role highlights:**
- 1:1 or small-group support for children with EHCPs / SEN Support plans (e.g. autism, speech & language, sensory needs, global delay)
- Implementing interventions: visual supports, PECS, sensory activities, social stories, fine/gross motor programmes
- Assisting with personal care, transitions, play-based learning, and emotional regulation
- Working closely with class teachers, SENCO, and external therapists
- Full-time, term-time only (potential for wraparound if desired)
 
**Ideal candidate:**
- Experience supporting Early Years / Reception children with SEND (school-based preferred)
- Relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching & Learning, Early Years Educator, CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)
- Calm, patient, creative, and resilient with strong safeguarding awareness
- Right to work in the UK + enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain)
