🌟 About the RoleA supportive and inclusive primary school in Streatham is seeking a motivated and compassionate Aspiring Clinical Psychologist to join their dedicated support team. This is an excellent opportunity for a psychology graduate or experienced support worker looking to gain valuable, hands-on experience working with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN).

You will work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to support pupils with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs.

🧠 Key Responsibilities

βœ… Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
βœ… Implement individual learning and behaviour support strategies
βœ… Support children’s emotional regulation, social skills, and communication development
βœ… Assist in creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
βœ… Observe, monitor, and report on pupil progress
βœ… Work collaboratively with teaching staff and therapists

πŸŽ“ Ideal Candidate

βœ” A Psychology graduate or aspiring Clinical / Educational Psychologist
βœ” Experience supporting children or young people (school, care, youth work, tutoring etc.)
βœ” Patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
βœ” Strong communication and teamwork skills
βœ” Passion for child development, mental health, and inclusive education
βœ” Commitment to a long-term role
