Seeking a friendly, experienced Receptionist to provide front-of-house cover during a holiday period. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting visitors, managing phone calls, and handling a variety of general administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operation of a busy Office.
Working within a Housing orgionational covering holiday cover.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet external customers, tenants, contractors, and visitors with warmth and professionalism
• Manage incoming calls, answer queries, take messages, and route calls appropriately — demonstrating a good telephone manner
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier services
• Complete general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, scanning, and photocopying
• Support office operations such as maintaining reception area tidiness and ensuring a welcoming environment
• Liaise with internal teams to coordinate meeting room bookings or other front-of-house needs
• Assist with ad hoc tasks as required

Person Specification / Requirements

• Previous receptionist or front-of-house office experience is required
• Strong administrative experience, including handling post and basic clerical duties
• Excellent telephone manner, 
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills — able to present a professional and welcoming 
• Organised, with good attention to detail
• IT literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Outlook) and comfortable using office equipment
