Assembly Operator/FLT Driver

Job Title: Assembly Operative / Forklift Driver 
Location: Worcester (WR2)
Hours: Monday – Friday | 08:00 – 17:00
Pay Rate: £12.96 per hour
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

A well-established company operating within the infrastructure sector is currently seeking an Assembly Operative / Forklift Driver to join their team in Worcester on a temp-to-perm basis. The business has over 20 years of industry experience and offers long-term stability and progression for the right candidate.
This role is assembly-focused, with forklift duties supporting daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assembling products and components in line with specifications and quality standards
• Picking and packing customer orders
• Loading and unloading deliveries using a Counterbalance forklift
• Supporting goods-in and goods-out operations
• Stock control and stock rotation
• Preparing and handling delivery and order paperwork
• Liaising with transport providers and internal teams as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing environments – essential
• Valid, in-date Counterbalance FLT licence – essential
• Experience working in a warehouse or production setting
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and a hands-on approach
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
