Forklift Driver

Location: Stourport-on-Severn
Hours: Monday - Friday 08:30am - 17:00pm
Pay: Dependant on experience
Contract: Temp - Perm

We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join a small, tight-knit team in the Stourport area. As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for the efficiency and smooth operation of the warehouse facility. Please note a UK Driving licence and Forklift Licence is essential.

The Duties of a Warehouse Operative:

• Inspect and accurately record incoming shipments of goods
• Organise and store products within the warehouse using the Forklift
• Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labelling items accurately
• Use the Forklift to assist with loading and unloading containers
• Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse, following health and safety regulations

The Requirements of a Warehouse Operative:

• Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
• Confident in operating warehouse equipment, such as a Forklift
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Heavy lifting may be required

The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, with the right attitude towards both work and colleagues. This role offers the opportunity for a Permanent contract at the end of a successful trial period.
