Production Planner / Scheduler

A well-established & growing manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Production Planner to join their Operations team based in St Leonards on Sea.


The Role
You’ll manage production schedules across machining & assembly operations, ensuring materials, capacity, and resources are aligned to meet customer demand.

• Create & maintain production schedules across multiple machines/work centres
• Allocate work based on capacity, machine availability, and deadlines
• Manage MRP and monitor open order books
• Raise and track purchase orders for materials and subcontract processes
• Monitor supplier delivery performance and material availability
• Communicate schedule changes and escalate delivery risks

The Person

• Experience in production planning/scheduling within manufacturing
• Strong understanding of MRP and production workflows
• Confident using ERP systems & Excel
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Proactive & a strong communicator

The Package

• Full time, permanent opportunity
• Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm with a 1pm finish on a Friday!
• £30,000 - £35,000pa DOE
