What you’ll be doing as a Data Protection Administrator
We’re looking for a proactive and organised Data Protection Administrator to support the smooth running of the Data Protection function. You’ll be at the heart of our team, ensuring administrative tasks are completed efficiently, accurately, and to a high standard.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, great communication skills and a passion for supporting data protection and customer service.

In this role, you will:
  • Manage incoming emails and correspondence, directing queries appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases in line with company policies.
  • Log and manage SAR and EIR trackers.
  • Extract and collate information to support information requests.
  • Work closely with the wider team to manage and escalate risks, complaints, or data breaches.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of data protection standards and guidance materials.
  • Respond to data protection queries.
  • Action requests for calls and provide general administrative support.
Base location: Hybrid – 1-2 days a week - Swindon (SN2 8BN) or Reading (RG1 8DB)
Working hours: 36 hours, Fulltime, Monday to Friday

What you should bring to the role

Essential
The essential criteria to help you succeed in this role is:
  • Previous experience in an administrative or customer-facing role.
  • Excellent time management, with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • High level of accuracy in handling information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • A Levels or equivalent are advantageous.
