Trainee Payroll Administrator

We’re on the lookout for a motivated and detail-focused Trainee Payroll Administrator to join a well established and friendly team in Basingstoke. 

No payroll experience? No problem — full training will be provided. Our client is looking for someone who can bring enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Supporting the payroll team with weekly and monthly payroll processing
• Updating employee records and payroll information
• Assisting with payroll queries and employee communications
• Learning about HMRC regulations, pensions, and statutory payments
• Helping ensure payroll deadlines are met accurately and on time
• Providing general admin support to the finance/payroll department

Skills and experience required:

• Great attention to detail
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• Strong organisation and communication skills
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Eagerness to learn and build a long-term career
• Previous office or admin experience is helpful but not essential
