Accounts Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Manager to join a small, friendly, and collaborative team based in Winchester. This is a varied, hands-on role offering the chance to take ownership of the accounts function while playing a key part in supporting and coordinating a small team.
 
This opportunity involves a variety of tasks including:

• Oversee the end-to-end accounts function, including both accounts payable and receivable
  • Perform and manage high-volume daily reconciliations with accuracy and efficiency
  • Supervise payroll processing, investigating and resolving any discrepancies promptly
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions 
  • Maintain and reconcile cash books across multiple bank accounts
  • Support month-end close activities, including journal postings, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Delegate and prioritise tasks across a small team, ensuring workloads are managed effectively and deadlines are me

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied and hands-on role, with a strong eye for detail and a proactive approach. It would particularly suit someone with an SME background who is comfortable working collaboratively and supporting colleagues where needed.
 
The successful candidate will have excellent bookkeeping knowledge coupled with strong organisational skills and a professional manner.
