Job Description

Sheridan Maine are currently supporting an established business in Hampshire who are seeking a Finance Manager to join their central accounts department on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include:

  • Producing monthly management accounts including journals, accruals and prepayments
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Creating accurate financial reports and presenting to senior colleagues
  • Business partnering with external stakeholders
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Leadership of a small team of assistants
  • Suggesting and implementing process improvements
 
The successful Finance Manager should possess the following skills and experience:
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or qualified by experience with relevant experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role, including management experience
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and present information clearly and concisely
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to establish and build relationships across the business
  • Highly organised and have impeccable attention to detail
