Factory Operative

Permanent Full-Time Factory / Production Operatives – Hereford, Salary: £29,000 per annum (£25,600+ Shift Allowances (£290 p/m) + Overtime + Excellent Benefits, Working Monday to Friday, Days, Afternoons, Nights rotating weekly. 

We are recruiting Permanent Production Operatives for a leading global manufacturer of specialist high-performance metal alloys used in aerospace, power generation, space exploration, defense, and other mission-critical industries.

The Role
As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process, operating precision machinery and ensuring products meet exacting quality standards. Responsibilities include:

• Operating machinery such as lathes, grinders, saws, drills, and handheld tools
• Using measuring equipment (gauges, rulers, tape measures)
• Setting up machines and monitoring production processes
• Carrying out regular quality checks
• Following work instructions and Health & Safety guidelines
• Assisting with changeovers, cleaning, and basic maintenance
• Working as part of a supportive, high-performing team

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment – essential
• Good standard of English and numeracy skills
• Reliable, adaptable, and a strong team player
• Excellent attention to detail and use of initiative
• Willingness to work rotating shifts (days, afternoons, nights)
• Able to pass drug & alcohol testing

Shifts
Rotating 3-shift pattern on weekly rotation:

• Days: 06:00–14:00
• Afternoons: 14:00–22:00
• Nights: 22:00–06:00

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary: £25,600 per annum, Shift Allowances: £290 per month
• TOTAL Salary including shift allowance - £29,000 per annum)
