Pertemps is recruiting Class 2 (HGV) Drivers for a well-established logistics company based in Luton. With new contracts and ongoing growth, this is a great opportunity to secure regular, paid hours with a supportive team.

📍 The Role

• Day & Night shifts available
  
  
  • Nights: 9:00 PM starts (Sunday–Thursday) – £15.90 per hour
    
    
  • Days: 8:00 AM starts – £15.30 per hour
    
    
• Multi-drop deliveries:
  
  
  • PM: 2–3 drops (Ipswich area)
    
    
  • AM: 8–10 drops (London, Essex, Guildford)
    
    
• Driving Class 2 vehicles (fleet includes 7.5T, 12T, and 18T)
  
  
• Delivering linen, bedding, mops, and cleaning materials to hotels and healthcare sites
  
  
• Sat navs and automatic vehicles available
  
  
• Ongoing shifts with temp-to-perm potential
  
  

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
  
  
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
  
  
• Multi-drop experience preferred
  
  
• Reliable and flexible with shift patterns
  
  
• Strong communication and compliance awareness
  
  
• DBS check required (can be arranged if not already held)
  
  

💷 Pay & Benefits

• £15.30 per hour (days)
  
  
• £15.90 per hour (nights)
  
  
• Paid for a minimum of 48 hours per week
  (average working hours around 37 per week)
  
  
• Weekly pay via Pertemps
  
  
• Overtime and extra shifts available
  
  
• Long-term work with potential for permanent placement
  
  

🕒 Shift Patterns

• Day Drivers: 8:00 AM start
  
  
• Night Drivers: 9:00 PM start
  
  
• Regular routes and consistent hours
