Job Description

Job Title: Facilities / General Operative
Location: Trowbridge, BA14
Pay rate:13.21
Hours: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week

Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm (7.75 hours per day) – 45-minute unpaid lunch
Friday: 8:30am – 3:45pm (6.5 hours) – 45-minute unpaid lunch

Duration: Minimum 4 weeks
Start Date: Immediate
Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable Facilities / General Operative to support a busy site in Trowbridge. This role is varied and includes general site support, facilities tasks, and light manual duties.
Key Responsibilities:

Receiving water and yoghurt deliveries and moving them to storage (approx. twice a month)
Filling fridges on site multiple times daily to ensure they are well stocked
Archiving: moving archive boxes as requested
Room set-up for meetings/events, including moving tables, chairs, flip chart stands, and operating moveable walls
Moving office furniture between offices and floors as required
Emptying ashtrays in designated smoking areas several times a week
Gardening duties such as weeding, sweeping compounds and loading bays, and clearing leaf litter (weekly)
