Job Description
The Associate role within our company is an exciting role that requires the candidate to be flexible not only in working for different Clients but also different Client locations when required.
This is to create a bench of Associate contractors that the company can engage with in line with the peaks and flows of any demands, they will be vetted and have the relevant system access and equipment, so they are immediately available to start work as assignments come in.

What you do:
As a Project Manager in the company’s Projects & Programmes Practice you will be supporting Lead Project Managers and managing smaller or less complex assignments or work- streams on larger projects and programmes. These could be for external or internal customers. These may be stand-alone, delivered within a Projects & Portfolio Office (PPO) aligned to a contractual service customer account or be delivered as part of the Central Project Service Desk (CPSD).
Additional tasks will include change management, business management, contract management, and being able to responsibly and effectively manage project finances. You may also have responsibility of a team.
Objectives will be set out and will be discussed regularly for each assignment or project you work on, and any questions you have you will be fully supported!
An example of objectives may include:
o Specific assignment requirements
o Delivering the products to the agreed quality, time and cost
o Maximising contribution and delivery activities
Skills
- Trained in Project Management, for example Prince2, to Foundation level and working towards a Practitioner qualification or equivalent, Agile techniques.
- A demonstrable track record of delivering successful project outcomes.
- Aware of the need to be Emotionally Intelligent, to adapt personal style and approach to meet customer needs.
- Be able to understand the Business outputs required from your assignment.
- Skilled user of Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Project and other relevant tools.
This is an umbrella contract, the role is Inside IR35
