Overview:
A well-established and friendly law firm in Somerset is seeking a Legal Secretary to join its Private Client team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a close-knit office, providing key administrative and client-facing support across the department.

The Role:
This is a varied position ideal for someone with a legal background who is happy to support across multiple areas, including occasional reception duties. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office while delivering a high standard of client care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Providing professional and courteous support to clients and colleagues
• Assisting with the management of legal matters in an organised and efficient manner
• Diary management, booking appointments, and coordinating meetings
• Preparing, formatting, and managing legal documents and correspondence
• Attending meetings where required and assisting with note-taking
• Supporting reception duties when needed, including meeting and greeting clients
• Handling incoming and outgoing post, including sorting and distribution
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all systems are kept up to date
• Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties and providing cover where required

About You:
• Previous experience in a similar legal support or administrative role
• Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and case management systems
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive and flexible team player with a positive attitude
• Willingness to learn and adapt within a busy office environment
