Job Description

EMPLOYMENT SOLICITOR – LOCUM, 2 + PQE, WEST SUSSEX/ HYRBID, 3 MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT, CIRCA £40 PER HOUR. A reputable organisation is seeking an immediately available employment solicitor to join their team on a three month contract to cover sick leave. The role offers a competitive salary along with flexible working arrangements. JOB REF: 3192

•This role involves managing and progressing legal cases within the region while representing members across a range of legal and regulatory settings.

•The successful locum will advocate for members in employment tribunals, courts, internal hearings, and proceedings before regulatory bodies.

•You will provide legal advice to colleagues, supporting professionals with legal issues, and contributing to training and guidance.

•Applications are open to qualified solicitors with over two years’ PQE in employment law, who have experience managing casework and supporting training initiatives.

•Candidates will demonstrate strong analytical ability, along with excellent communication, advocacy, and negotiation skills, and will be able to produce clear legal documentation and explain complex issues effectively to colleagues and members.
