JOB TITLE: Family Solicitor                 
PQE REQUIRED: 5+        
LOCATION: North Yorkshire                
SALARY: Up to £65,000 (DOE)                    

OVERVIEW:
• Opportunity for an experienced Family Solicitor to join the firm as a Legal Aid Supervisor.
• Potential to step in as Head of Department or progress into the role via a clear development pathway.
• Management of a diverse family law caseload with a primary focus on care proceedings.
• Handling private law children matters and non-molestation order cases.
• Providing high quality legal advice and representation to clients.
• Supervising and mentoring Junior Solicitors and Caseworkers.
• Ensuring full compliance with Legal Aid Agency requirements.
• Motivated to lead, develop and support a team, either immediately or in the near future.
• Extensive experience in care proceedings, with solid knowledge of private law children and non-mol matters.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage a varied and demanding caseload.
• Flexible and adaptable, particularly in relation to court commitments.
• Open to occasional remote working, where appropriate.
