OVERVIEW:
• An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Charities Lawyer to join a well-regarded legal team working on a range of high-profile and meaningful matters.
• You'll work closely with a diverse portfolio of charity and not-for-profit clients, providing expert advice on charity law, governance, and regulatory compliance.
• The role involves advising on the formation and registration of new charities, drafting and reviewing funding agreements, and supporting clients through Charity Commission processes.
• You'll also advise on restructuring, mergers, charity trading, and corporate structures, as well as governance best practice.
• This is a fantastic opportunity for a lawyer looking to deepen their expertise in the charity and not-for-profit sector while working on complex and rewarding projects.
• You will have at least 5 years PQE gained within a reputable firm renowned for their charity law practice.
• Ideal Charities Lawyer will have solid experience in working for charities across a range of matters.
• Working closely with the partners and wider team, you will be gaining exposure to a diverse client base of charities ranging in sizes.
• The firm offers an excellent salary and benefits package, including a performance-based bonus, generous pension, and five weeks’ annual leave with the option to buy or sell an extra week.
