Job Description

Legal Secretary (Residential Property), Wiltshire, £23,000+ (DOE) – A new opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a busy Residential Property team. JOB REF:0104

THE ROLE:
• You will provide key administrative and secretarial support to a thriving conveyancing team, assisting with a range of residential property transactions
• Preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors
• Managing diaries and arranging appointments
• Opening, maintaining, and closing client files
• Conducting Land Registry and property searches
• Assisting with post-completion work and SDLT submissions
• Supporting with billing and file management

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a legal secretary or conveyancing support role
• Strong understanding of the conveyancing process
• Excellent typing and document production skills
• Great attention to detail and organisational ability
• Confident, friendly, and professional when dealing with clients
• Comfortable using legal case management systems and Microsoft Office
