Job Description

Paralegal (Contentious Probate), West Midlands, £25,000+ (DOE) – This is a fantastic opportunity to develop in a complex, growing area of private client litigation, under the supervision of experienced senior solicitors. JOB REF:0063.

THE ROLE:
• Supporting senior fee earners by attending client meetings and taking detailed notes
• Drafting legal correspondence, instructions to counsel, and other documents
• Assembling court bundles and preparing case files
• Conducting legal research and managing files efficiently
• Communicating with clients, counsel, experts, and opponents
• Attending court hearings where necessary
• Travelling to other offices as needed to meet client and team requirements
• Participating in internal and external networking to support business development

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Experience working in a litigation team within a law firm preferred
• Strong organisational and file management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work under direct supervision while developing toward autonomy
• A genuine interest in contentious probate law and a willingness to learn
