Fully Funded Training Opportunity – Lean Manufacturing

PDT Horizons are offering a fully funded Lean Manufacturing training pathway designed to support individuals looking to develop structured problem-solving skills, strengthen continuous improvement knowledge and gain industry-recognised Lean Six Sigma certification.

About the Programme:

A minimum of 60 Guided Learning Hours delivered over a 16-week training plan, split into two core sections:

1. Yellow Belt Programme

• Introduction to the fundamental methodologies of Lean Six Sigma
• Understanding variation and SPC (Statistical Process Control)
• Exploration of process variation
• Key terminology such as DPMO (Defects Per Million Opportunities)

2. Green Belt Programme
• Mastery of the DMAIC methodology (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control)
• Opportunity to apply advanced tools and methodologies (e.g., 8D’s, PDCA)
• Increased understanding of Lean Management and Cell Theory

• Skills that increase employability within engineering, manufacturing and operations environments
• CV writing support / Interview Preparation


Candidate Requirements:

• Aged 19+
• Live or work in the West of England (Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Bath or North East Somerset)
• Ready to train and progress into a new career( Also open to those currently employed )
• Beneficial for those with experience in engineering, manufacturing or operations (but not essential)

This programme is ideal for individuals aiming to enhance their analytical skills, understand improvement methodologies and advance within Lean, CI (Continuous Improvement) or supervisory roles.
