Job Title: Class 2 Trunker Driver (with Forklift Certificate)
Location: Gateshead
Shifts: Monday to Friday (start times between 3pm-6pm)

About the Role:
Our client, a well-established and reputable company based in Gateshead, is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 / HGV 2 Trunker Driver to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for consistent trunking work with a respected employer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out trunking deliveries between depots and distribution centres
• Ensure timely and safe transportation of goods
• Load and unload vehicles using a forklift where required
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records
• Adhere to all road transport and health & safety regulations

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Forklift Truck (FLT) licence (Counterbalance preferred)
• Previous trunking or HGV driving experience
• Strong understanding of driver hours and regulations
• Good communication and organisational skills
• A professional and flexible approach to work
