Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and proactive Procurement Assistant to join our growing team based on the outskirts of Kenilworth. Due to our location, applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own transport.
This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent opportunity offering the chance to play a key role within our purchasing and supply chain function. The successful candidate will support the efficient sourcing of goods and services, maintain strong supplier relationships, and ensure materials are procured in a timely and cost-effective manner.
As a central point of contact between internal teams and external suppliers, you will help ensure that all materials and services meet required quality standards and delivery deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and resolve delivery or quantity issues
- Raise purchase orders in line with business requirements
- Work collaboratively within the procurement team to ensure accurate material pricing
- Ensure best-value pricing is achieved and applied during tender build-ups
- Track, record, and monitor all purchase orders
- Maintain and manage the supplier database and relationships
- Support the Procurement and Warehouse Manager with stock control, both in the office and within engineers’ vans
- Produce daily reports on departmental KPIs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, and Commercial teams to understand and meet purchasing needs
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
