Are you looking for a new challenge with a leading independent Building Services organisation renowned for quality and delivery? We’re seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to join the team in Plymouth.

With offices across the country and expertise to deliver projects in a wide range of sectors including Education, Healthcare, MoD, Industrial and Commercial, this company provides design and installation of mechanical and electrical services in innovative and sustainable ways.

The Role

As Mechanical Project Manager, you’ll oversee the full operational delivery of mechanical works—managing safety, technical standards, commercial performance, and team management throughout the project lifecycle. You’ll ensure profitability, drive efficiency, and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion a “safety first” culture
• Contribute to bid and tender activities
• Drive operational efficiency
• Review scope and installation methods to ensure accurate delivery
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks.
• Lead internal teams and specialist subcontractors through all project stages.
• Conduct contract reviews and prepare project reports and documentation.
• Develop and maintain high‑quality customer relationships.

The Person

We are looking for a team player who is well versed in taking ownership of projects. You should be results driven and take pride in delivering high quality schemes.

Applicants will possess the following experience and skills:

• Demonstrable experience in mechanical building services within a construction environment, in a similar role.
• Recognised trade or professional qualification/apprenticeship in a mechanical discipline.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.
• Experience delivering high‑value projects.
