We’re working with a successful business who are seeking an experienced Accountant to join their growing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Accountant who enjoys a varied role and wants to make a real impact within a supportive company.
 
Key responsibilities of the Accountant role:

• Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Managing balance sheet reconciliations and journals
• Supporting year-end processes and liaising with auditors
• Overseeing purchase and sales ledgers, accruals and prepayments
• Monitoring cashflow and producing regular reports
• Ensuring compliance with financial policies, procedures and regulations
• Providing support and guidance to the wider finance team and stakeholders

 
What we’re looking for in an Accountant:

• Previous experience as an Accountant or similar finance role
• Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and experience of using Sage 50
• Excellent Excel skills and confidence using finance systems
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
