Production Operative

Role: Production Operator (Team Leader Opportunity)
Location: Dudley
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday- 7.30am to 4.30pm, Friday- 7.30am to 3.30pm
Hourly Rate: £13.34ph (increasing with training DOE)
 
Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced sorter/ production operator, to join our client based in Dudley. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop and expand their skills.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily site operations and support Manager.
• Drive company van to transport products between sites.
• Ensure all products and processes meet company quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records and data entry using Excel.
• Carry out basic administrative tasks – once training is completed.
• Motivate and support co-workers.
• Uphold and enforce safety procedures and company protocols.
• Quality inspection
• Picking and packing of products in preparation for dispatch and delivery.
• Elements of manual handling – NO heavy lifting.

 
Successful candidates will have:

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence (Essential – driving company van is a requirement).
• Good level of spoken and written English.
• Computer Literate—Microsoft office Packages; Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Physically fit – elements of manual handling involved.
• Organised and dependable with strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Prior Team Leader experience is desirable but not essential.
