Counterbalance Forklift Driver
Essex & Suffolk Water
Fixed Term – 2 Months Monday to Friday
Immediate Start

Essex & Suffolk Water are seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their team on a 2-month fixed term contract. This role will support warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of stock and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating a counterbalance forklift to move, load, and unload items safely
Picking stock accurately using paper pick sheets
Transporting materials to designated locations within the warehouse or yard
Carrying out daily forklift checks and reporting any faults
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Adhering to all health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

Valid and in-date Counterbalance Forklift licence
Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse or similar environment
Experience using paper-based picking systems
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong awareness of health and safety practices
